It’s that time again! Time to sign up for the 25th Annual Fore Dougie Charity Golf Tournament! We are again headed to Gettysburg, PA for bad golf, tall tales, great friendships, a good cause, and we want you to join us! We are raising money in memory of Doug Black this year and donating to The Doug Black Scholarship at Hackettstown High School (Doug’s alma mater).
Doug’s too-short life continues to have an impact, in spite of his death from an aggressive form of cancer at age 26. Those of us who knew Dougie are grateful for our fond memories and the time we spent with him. For those who never knew Doug, the Fore Dougie is an event that celebrates the life of a unique individual of unparalleled integrity, who brought joy and kindness to everyone he met. It is a chance to learn about Doug and why he was loved by so many, and to join his friends and family by helping others in his name.
To keep Doug’s memory and spirit alive, the Doug Black Foundation was established in 1999. Thus far over $150,000 has been donated in Doug’s name to scholarships for scholar-athletes, the Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and Team TJ Sharpe. Each of our contributions keeps Doug’s spirit alive, while helping others in need.
Please join us On Saturday, April 20th at The Links of Gettysburg! All are welcome! Please register as soon as possible to ensure your spot in the field. We have had such a large turnout the last couple of years we have had to turn a few latecomers away, so make sure you register and send your money today!
25th Annual Doug Black Charity Golf Tournament
Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024
Time: Shotgun start at 1:30 pm
Where: The Links at Gettysburg, located just outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Format: Shotgun start for an 18-hole scramble
Price: $110/person (includes a round of golf with cart and range balls plus BBQ)

Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024
Time: Approximately 5:30 pm (following the round)
Where: The Links at Gettysburg, patio behind the 18th green
Price: $20/person if you are not golfing; otherwise, it’s included in the cost for golf

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for cancellations.
For tax purposes, we ask that each attendee donate by enclosing a separate contribution to Hackettstown High School

*We are limited to the number of golfers we can have on the course, so please submit payment for golf by April 1, 2024 to ensure a spot. Everyone is invited to participate (friends, family, co-workers, etc). The more people that play, the more money we can donate to Hackettstown High School.
